Transformers Henkei!: D-03 Astrotrain (Takara/Tomy)
Triple changer Astrotrain is represented in excellent detail as this fully transformable addition to Takara Tomy's "Henkei! Henkei! Transformers" action figure line! The Decepticon can transform between his space shuttle mode, train mode, and robot mode. He's packed with features, too, including his ion rifle, which can be attached to his hand and back of his train mode, and chrome plating on his jet engine.
Initially released in the U.S. in Hasbro's "Transformers Classics" toy line, Astrotrain and other Transformers in this "Henkei! Henkei! Transformers" line are redecorated by Takara Tomy for the Japanese market with a different color scheme for a more accurate resemblance to their counterparts in the original "Transformers" animated show. Each figure in this series also features chrome-plated parts and comes in Japanese packaging.
