As the second season of this stylish, static mecha series continues, Negotiator Roger Smith experiences nightmares/flashbacks: collages of robot attacks, burning cities, universal product codes, and what appear to be human clones. How these fragmented recollections link Roger's role as "Dominus" of the title mecha Megadeus, the schemes of the wealthy Rosewater family, and the plague that destroyed the memories of everyone in Paradigm City will undoubtedly be revealed as the show progresses. Meanwhile, much of the focus shifts to android Girl Friday Dorothy, who rescues Roger from kidnappers and discovers Angel's ties to what appears to be a German bund left over from a World War II-era B movie. The new season of The Big O continues the disconnect between the elegant Deco designs of the main characters, and the broad, cartoony villains, including the gang who takes Roger hostage. This set contains episodes 5-13 (end).
