Ninja Resurrection - OVA
Jubei helps the Japanese government to take control over a city that was under christian leadership. It was ruled by someone who could be seen as the new Jesus. But since he died, he has been reborn now, but not as a new Jesus but as the devil himself. It is up to Jubei to take him out before the world has become one giant massacre.
The year is 1614 and the Tokugawa Shogunate bans Christianity and embarks on a crusade to slaughter all followers of Christ. The scattered survivors place their faith in a prophecy of salvation: a Child of Heaven will be born to deliver the faithful from the enemies. Yet within the prophecy lurks a dark omen ? it is written that, should the promised savior falter, he will be reborn as Satan. The Christians believe they have found their savior in Shiro Amakusa, a new leader of the Christians who has arisen to challenge the Shogun`s power. However, unspeakable treachery lurks within the Christian stronghold, as the blood-soaked horror of the prophecy is unleashed in Ninja Resurrection!
