Akina when Tak agrees to give Seiji the race he's been asking for. Seems like everyone on the mountain is talking about the enigmatic 86 and its unknown driver, but Tak, modest as ever, keeps it all to himself. However, when some chick goes off on Natalie for no good reason, Tak's more than willing to give the girl and her boyfriend a lesson in humility with an impromptu race. Off the road, Bunta's still waiting for parts to the new engine for the 86. But the biggest news of all, is that Natalie's so-called 'father' is actually an older man she sleeps with for money. The thing is, she's fallen in love with Tak, and when she tells the old guy that it's over, he insists on one last 'date.' After picking up his son, Bunta assures him that the blown engine is not Tak's fault. But Bunta also impresses upon Tak the seriousness of a blown engine ... he's going to have to replace the whole thing. (Little does Tak know what surprise his father has in store for him.) While the car is in the shop, K.T. drops by to console Tak. In K.T.'s view, the race was not a loss for him, but nonetheless, he will avenge Tak. It's cold comfort to Tak, who confides in Iggy that he regrets racing on Mt. Akagi in the first place. At the same time, Cole and Kenji spot a new turbo 86 on the road.   Price: $9.95 Initial D Manga Vol. 11 Ry Takahashi of the Redsuns and Kyoichi of Team Emperor begin their long awaited battle on Akagi in front of an enormous gallery of spectators. Meanwhile, Tak's personal life is changing dramatically as his relationship with Natalie deteriorates due to her little secret. Turns out, that not only was Kai trained to race by his father like Tak, but his dad is also Bunta's old archrival. Kai's dad lost to Bunta years ago, and now it's up to Kai to bring honor back to the family name. Before this momentous race, Bunta, for the first time, gives his son some racing advice as he cautions Tak about the dried leaves on the asphalt this time of year.
