Garuda is the mythical God-creature from ancient folklore who ruled the world long before the time of man. One man's quest to prove its existence ends in disaster but his beautiful daughter Leena takes up his mission to find the remains of the Garuda.
Denied excavation rights by superstitious authorities, Leena's hopes of proving her father right are raised when she and her colleague Tim are called to help investigate a mysterious finding in a railway tunnel deep under modern Bangkok. There they find the last remaining Garuda.
Lena and Tim's attempt to save the creature are resisted by the soldiers who want to exterminate the Garuda at all cost. The fight against superstition and ignorance begins as the Garuda is unleashed and wreaks havoc over the skies of Bangkok. The reign of The Garuda has arrived!
